Team administrators can remotely wipe/erase all the ClearChat data off of a user's device at anytime (in the event that the device is lost, compromised, etc.). 

To remotely wipe a user: 

  1. Click on your company name in the upper left hand corner of the app and select "contacts."
  2. Locate and click on the pencil icon next to the name of the person you wish you remote wipe.
  3. Click, "remove user." From the remove user screen you will also see the option to check a box and remotely wipe their device. 

Important note: remote-wiping also removes the user from your organization!

In order to remotely wipe the data off of a device, you must also remove the user from your organization

Once their device is compromised their keys could be compromised and it is best practice to erase everything. If you wish for the user to rejoin your team you will have to send them a new invite and they will start fresh as a completely new user with no message history, stored files, etc.
